These high quality marquees are capable of holding 30-80 guests seated (40-120 standing) or greater numbers by linking several marquees together.

Linings are available for this marquee to purchase as a package or separately. We can also supply marquee flooring, lighting, accessories or spare parts should anything be damaged in its lifetime.

It's very difficult for someone new looking for a marquee. You'll come across comments such as:

But what are the facts and what should you look for?


Most new marquees and party tents for sale actually use similar types of frame utilizing steel poles of 32-45mm diameter.
The main differences between gazeboes, party tents and marquees is the weight of material used - measured in grams per square meter (gsm). The graph to the right illustrates the following:

 

    • 120gsm PE used in tarpaulins, groundsheets and some gazeboes
    • 240gsm PE used in most party tents
    • 360gsm PE used in Commercial party tents
    • 380gsm PVC used in this marquee's walls
    • 500gsm PVC used in this marquee's roof canopy
    • 600/700gsm PVC used in commercial trade PVC marquees

With this marquee we are aiming to supply a quality value for money marquee that will last, the thickness of the material used makes it more durable than the party tents.

Specifications:

  • White flame retardant 500gsm PVC roof with welded (not sewn) seams
  • Easy to erect and comes with easy to follow instructions
  • Avoids caravan-awning style push buttons by using eye-bolts to hold all poles in place
  • Vertical walls - essential for weathering a marquee to the house or for attaching to other marquees
  • Ground bars on all 4 sides included
  • Comes with 2 end panels - one with an 8ft (approx) zipped entrance, one with a 4ft (approx) zipped entrance
  • Also has 12 'True georgian' rounded window panels (6 for each side)
  • Poles made from zinc galvanized steel 38mm diameter (1.2mm wall thickness)
  • Joints made from zinc galvanized steel 42mm diameter (1.2mm wall thickness)
  • Includes 4 guy ropes with screw-in anchors for use in sheltered locations.
  • Tie down kits should be purchased if the marquee is to be used in windy or open areas with the sides off.

The marquee weighs approx 380kg (delivery weight) and will arrive on a pallet (hence the unfortunately large postage cost outside mainland UK).
